Exploring Downtown.. 

Well, i'm home alone now..rather exhausted from exploring downtown, so I decided to fiddle around with photoshop. This..unfortunately is the best I can do with the software I have. Janet and I went for a hair cut yesterday, and as a result we now have successfully added 'style' to our hair. What do you think?

Boxing day. A day where there are "supposedly" great sales on many items ranging from electronics, clothes and even pet food! Anyhoo, my parents, my cousin Janet and I just got back home from getting a small taste of boxing day shopping ourselves. We didn't go to the mall though...but even our last stop at future shop was enough to make us want to turn around and head right back home. The most hilarious thing happened...I was asking this salesperson about where the 256mb usb keys were. At first, he told me that they didn't sell those, so I asked him if they had the 128 mb. Somehow or other, he was fixated on the 256mb ones and then proceeded to tell me that the 256 mb weren't on sale! *yet..didn't he just tell me they didn't sell them!?.* There's more. So, I then asked him..where they were located. So, he walks maybe 5 steps and then proceeds to point with his finger saying, "Where my finger is pointing is where they are located". He was actually pointing to some vague space to the left of him. so I asked "where?" He then says, "where the Pay Less signs are". Hm...well isn't that funny, but where he was pointing actually had 4 Pay Less signs..which one was he pointing to! haha, this was just hilarious, 'cuz he was trying really hard to use absolutely no effort today. hehe, I just found this incident quite funny..

it's almost christmas day

Yeterday, my cousin Janet flew in from Boston to spend Christmas with us this year...and this morning, she got a real taste of "Canadian Winter". because of the snow that had fallen during the night,Janet and I had to wake up even earlier to go downtown for our dental appointment....it was just way too early. :0 the plus side of it all..we got to get our teeth nice and clean, and even shop eaton's centre for the rest of the afternoon. That mall is really big with lots of stores..hm..like H&M... yet somehow or other we ended up only shopping one floor of the mall for four hours!!

so now, i'm exhausted, and have a chiropractor appointment in the morning so I really should sleep. I just can't believe it's already Friday. Which means i've already been home for almost a week. *sigh* and because of the weather I couldn't meet up with my coffeegurls today. Still not sure when we'll meet up, but hopefully soon.. :)

woohoo! It has finally arrived. I remember as I drove back this past weekend, with my roomies and Grace, how we were anticipating this moment for the longest time. The anticipation of having no school for all of 2 weeks, delicious food, and being with our friends and family...made it even more difficult to concentrate on exams. Nevertheless, all the stress and frustration is all done with, and it's now time to celebrate the real meaning behind all the glam, shopping, and festive lights. I feel that now that I'm older, Christmas seems to have loss a part of its "magic" to me. It seems, with all the snow, and all the troubles it seems to bring just doesn't seem very appealing to me. sure, its pretty out with all the snow falling, but it doesn't quite help if your cars stuck, or if you're stuck in traffic.

exams, exams. Have one tomorrow at 9am. It's 9pm right now and instead of studying I've done a lot of time wasting things. For instance, I've checked out everybody's imagestation for new pics, surfed through ppl blogs and lastly I even did a "what kind of Pocky are you?" test. seriously..I should start doing some working..instead of constantly falling asleep or doing my review for linguistics.

interesting huh? It actually kinda describes me! :P

hm...I really should be studying right now, since i have an exam at 7pm tonight. Unfortunately, I'm getting rather distracted. eek..I can't wait until exams are over and I can be with my coffeegurls again. :) I just know this Christmas is going to be filled with tons of surprises, love and laughter.
