Patience my Child

I feel so impatient lately. I know that He will provide a roof over my head in His own time, but I know I'm getting impatient. I want to take things into my own hands and make it happen. I want to make it for certain that I will have a place to live come Sept NOW. I've been looking into some prospective places and I'm really hoping one in particular will work out. It's in an awesome location, close to my classes, churches, and the grocery store. I know God wants me to wait, but I'm finding it so hard to do so. Yet, I know that the end result will be exactly what my heart desires.

ah..which reminds me of this year's theme. Believing & Expecting that God will provide. In which case, I just need to keep believing & expecting.

Change 1: Moved downtown & loving it :)

It's been 2 weeks since I've moved downtown and so far everything has been good :) It's a different lifestyle but I'm enjoying it. We've almost finished renovating our kitchen..so these past couple of weeks I've been eating out a lot! Nevertheless, I've also been so blessed to see friends downtown & go exploring with them. From summerlicious lunches & dinners, to the ROM, to walking around Queen street and the Eaton Centre.

Yesterday was a great day despite all the rain! Dor and I had our share of good eats & laughs esp. @ Lululemon. We almost tried on maternity wear!! LOL. We thought the top looked a bit interesting, quite loose at the stomach, but didn't think much about it until it was pointed out by the staff. :P

Well, off to do some things now. But here's the view from the rooftop of my condo building.

the stress of moving

It's 3 days until I move out of this house and the stress level in this house is relatively high. Oh, and did I mention the amount of dust that is constantly being stirred, resulting in constant sneezing and 'cold-like' symptoms? Well, the house is almost packed up aside from the kitchen and random objects in all rooms of the house. Why is it that after cleaning a room to what seems like utterly no randomness in the room, a day later it's filled with similar objects again?? haha. The joys of moving.

I'm trying to pack 'strategically', in the sense that I'm attempting to pack all the stuff I wish to bring to Alberta (mostly warm clothes) in one suitcase..but now that's its nearing the end, i've resorted to opening a suitcase and simply chucking all seasons of clothes into the void. I've also come to the startling realization that I have enough bath and/or body products that they qualify for a box of their own. *sigh*

2 months have definitely flown by, and I'm forsee the next 2 months will see me unpacking all the boxes. Hopefully, I will determine some sort of housing arrangement soon as I will call Alberta tomorrow regarding on campus housing. There is one potential, as she is a epidemiology grad student that has found an apartment for about $500 all inclusive "near" the university,..but the prospect of living with a complete stranger doesn't sit too well with me, even if she is 'known' through my brother's connections.

regardless, I believe & expect that God will provide. I'll update you all soon. :)
