the cross, that bore so much

Easter. not a time for easter bunnies as society portrays, but a time to remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. So much, did He bear, but he bore it despite all since He loved us so much and wanted to give us the chance of everlasting life. What can I say? all, I have is thankyou..but even saying "thank you for the cross" seems inadequate. Incomprehensible of what Jesus did, yet only by him doing so, are we now saved..

march break open house

so..today, I woke up bright and early at 7:30am, just to get onto campus by 8am in order to help out for the march break open house. Looking outside this morning, I totally did not expect to see white fluffy stuff falling from the sky..well, at least it was snow & not rain, since I stood outside for a good hour or 2 directing cars & helping ppl out down at the south valley buiding. Thank goodness for these awesome hand warmers that they got us. They're these niffy little packets with some sort of chemical component in it..where upon shaking it..they heat up and keep your hands all warm and toasty! :) My team and I were soo tempted to put them in our boots as well to warm up our ice cold feet! unlimited hot chocolate & coffee was on western today as well as lunch :) Overall, it was a great experience, although by 1pm I was soo tired so I went on home and slept 'till 4pm.

nyways..its been a long day. Highlight of the day included me attempting to 'demedicinize' my bicardi strawberry breezer & "helping" dor with her closet... aww..Dor, you know we luv you, so what we're doing is for your betterment. hahah. *muah*

I'm so tired right now, but it was great to just spend time with my roomies from first year earlier tonight, just to catch up...i also attempted to learn poker but that didn't go too well, so I went to talk to Jing instead. She's never seen any wongfu videos before! (www.wongfuproductions.com) haha, I suppose we were a bit giddy and decided that we would e-mail them. Nothing spectacular though, just wanted to tell them that we wish our boyz here at western would do something useful with their time and maybe even make music videos instead of playing warcraft, or poker. :)

On another note, the Lord has truly brought blessing after blessing into my life. Earlier today, I got a job offer for the place I volunteered at during reading week. Apparantly, the staff there raved so much about me, that they urged their boss to see if they could afford me for the summer! So, it looks like they can for 3 months :) Which is such a blessing, since at first I was pretty upset that things would not turn up for me in the volunteering department, let alone the job market. Yet, God has been faithful and has answered my prayers and more!
