Tehillah Toronto

Tehillah Toronto - Last night I went to Tehilla, where people of different denominations, ethnicities etc.. gather together and worship God. What Pastor Huey spoke on, was the need for there to be a revival in Toronto..in our nation- Canada Which was really interesting to me..since it's so cool to see what God has in store for our nation..as so many people feel that God will move in Toronto. The most interesting part is this..that God is calling people not only amongst the people that I know, but across Toronto, and even as far away as the states..that God will do something BIG in toronto.. As long as the Holy Spirit can come in and move..then awesome and amazing things will happen. :)

Proverbs 31 - Wisdom Personified

God is so awesome! Every day I go to work, I'm amazed at how God has brought me to such a great job where I have the opportunity to work with such amazing speech therapists. Even everyday conversations can offer interesting insights and surprises. On monday, I was sharing with one of my coworkers about my pastor's message, on Proverbs 31. As I shared with her, she suddenly looked at me and said..it's funny, but that's EXACTLY what my pastor talked about!


If you ever read this passage, you'll probably wonder to yourself " how in the world is it possible for this woman to do all these things?" Now, one has to take this passage in a certain way since this is NOT God's list of things for what a woman must do, but rather how this woman in Proverbs 31 is a woman after God's own heart. Regardless of all her responsibilities, natural abilities, and strengths she realizes that her strength ultimately comes from God.

clumsy, tired,

Well, it's 5:45pm on a Friday afternoon and I'm still here at the office. I never thought I would still be here at this time. Thank goodness the reason why I'm still here is not work related. Rather, I'm sitting here whittling away the minutes as I wait for my parents to pick me up. Funny thing is, this was supposed to be faster (them picking me up) as opposed to me taking the streetcar to College station (which takes roughly 30-45 min).

Anyways..since i'm here I might as well do some blogging.

The summer seems to have just flown by. Oh and speaking of which the free day at Ontario Place & The Festival of Fire was awesome! I got to go with the deli girls and we went on bumper boats, a kid version of drop zone, mazes, mars simulator ride and a ride similar to timber wolf falls (BUT not as wet! ). Also, lots of food were served to us from CHFI. There were smoked salmon sandwiches with cream cheese and capers, roast beef sandwiches with brie, platters of fruit and a canada dry pop. So all in all a great day.

Ooh..alrite, gotta get going. Tonight, I'm listening to Dr. James Beverly talk about the Da Vinci Code at church.

Oh and clumsiness of the week: Accidentally dropped a glass jar and a japanese bowl all in the same night. :(
