Edmonton here I come!

gah! I can't believe it. In a mere 2 days I will be in Edmonton, and then a week later starting Sept 6th I'll be starting my Masters. I'm so excited! haha, but then again there are those butterflies in my stomach about all the little things. Silly me, worrying again about inconsequential events.

I didn't quite get a chance to see everyone, but I'm content with the quality time I had with those I did. Dinner @ Marlowe's was awesome despite the fact that I apparantly didn't make reservations (eventhough I did!), lunch at Asian Legend with high school friends, coffee with frosh girls, and annual sushi making & sleepover. It's been a great summer. So great that I'm afraid my mind may have gone to mush. No worries though, I'll eat some Gingko to get those synapses firing again & ready to go for Sept. Early morning, and late nights here I come.

mayhem per usual

It's sunday morning, and instead of finding myself at church this morning I'm busy packing away as my family gets my brother ready for Pittsburgh. We were suppose to set out early, but as usual we're not quite ready to leave yet. There are still about 2-3 more boxes of stuff that we need to pack, bring into the elevator and pack into the van we rented. Looks like the weather in Pittsburgh will be fairly warm for our 5 day stay. It's going to be a hot 28-30 degrees on some of the days!

Now that I see how much my brother has to pack, I wonder how much time & effort it will take me to pack everything as well. I'll probably start doing that once I get back. Meanwhile, time to enjoy some family time! I leave for Edmonton on the 25th, so that gives me just a bit of time to see people & pack my life into 6 suitcases. Knowing me, I'll overpack!

ooh, the Excitement!!

guess what? guess what? I finally found a place to live! God is soo good, since the place I found is everything that I wanted and more. Anyways, not only is the building secure (ie. security cameras, buzzers etc..), has tons of ammenities (which is a plus), but it's super close to my classes. The girl that I'm sharing the suite with is a 3rd year pharamacy student. Now the coolest part of this is that, she's also a Christian. which is Awesome. How cool is God to arrange all that?

After all these crazy, stressful months, there should be no room for doubting God. He answered my- dated prayer of grade 10 - to be a Speech-Language Pathologist, got me accepted into a competitive Candian University, and now found a place to live in Edmonton that is not only close but with a really cool roommate. What more could I ask for? God is so Good. PTL. Thanks guys, for all the prayers!

Well, that's all for the super exciting news! I'll have more news later, which is slightly on the sadder side of things since I'm flying out to Edmonton in about 3 weeks time.
